Unflagged: 90% EXP Flagged: 110% EXP = RUMOR

There are a lot of rumors flying around now, and the most popular one is one that the Russian open beta servers had. That unflagged people in PvP zones get 90% of experience. Flagged get 110% experience. Has this change made it in the Allods Online open beta?

A few Russian open beta testers I talked to confirmed this existed in the Russian open beta, while others aid they experienced no difference between being flagged or unflagged while questing in world PvP zones.

I asked the Allods Online team and was told they haven’t heard anything about this. I did ask a few people in their thirties in game last night to try it out. They said the experience they all got from turning in a quest was just a regular 125% extra experience. Nothing more.

So, I believe this is a rumor.

From repliers, yes, we know a third of the population think the flag system sucks, many more love the system.

It does seem that the Russian changes did go live, but it is only working in World PvP zones according to one. Can someone please provide screenshot evidence?

I tested it on 2 different characters. Mob xp is definitelly higher when you are flagged and lower when unflagged. Quest XP on the other hand is harder to judge with the 125% bonus, so that remained untested. So I can say that the “rumor” has some ring of truth on it (and in fact started by the interface itself).

Well, it is true, but I don’t know if it will be implemented definitively…
I know that because (at least in the EU version) if you hover your mouse on the flag you could see the 90%/110% thing, although I think it was removed with the latest update 😉
Pretty useless anyways, the flag system need to be balanced by other things.
